GIAPPONISMO is  a Photographic series created entirely with light projections
“Japan, light, and visual metamorphosis.”
GIAPPONISMO is a photographic project by Luzzitelli Danieli Productions that explores Japanese aesthetics through a contemporary language, where tradition and experimentation merge into a single visual flow.
The series stems from the desire to evoke the imagery of Japanese theater, Ukiyo-e prints, and floral symbols typical of the Far East, reinterpreting them through a totally photographic approach.
No digital editing, no invasive post-production: all the images were created live, thanks to a complex process of projecting light directly onto the model. Fluid colors, dynamic textures, abstract patterns, and luminous scenery intertwine with the body and accessories, creating an aesthetic that is both dreamlike and material.
The result is a series that thrives on pure light, movement, and presence.
The model becomes a living canvas on which constantly changing visual worlds flow, while clothes, flowers, and ornaments take on new forms through the superimposition of luminous textures.
GIAPPONISMO is a tribute to Japanese culture, but also a declaration of love for photography as a craft, physical, and immediate process: each shot is the result of a unique visual performance.
