Good Morning with Lazzaroni
“Good morning, good morning! / Sunbeams will soon smile through. / Good mornin’, good morning’, / Good mornin’, my darlin’, to you!” cantavano in un famoso film degli anni 50! E chi non vorrebbe svegliarsi con questa colazione sul tavolo? Sicuramente il giorno inizierebbe con un sorriso!
Quella che vogliamo condividere oggi è un’immagine realizzata per Lazzaroni, storico marchio dell’industria dolciaria italiana: “Secoli di storia e tradizione, autentica passione e continua ricerca della qualità sono gli ingredienti principali dei biscotti Lazzaroni” si legge sul loro sito!
I primi biscotti Lazzaroni furono commercializzati nel 1888 e in breve tempo la produzione decolla con 350 diversi biscotti esportati in tutto il mondo. Un marchio che è arrivato nelle case di tutti gli italiani: chi di voi non ha mai tenuto tra le mani una delle iconiche scatole Lazzaroni (speriamo piene di biscotti e non di bottoni…)? “La storia lascia sugli oggetti che ci circondano dei segni indelebili. Con le immagini litografate sulle scatole di latta, Lazzaroni propone cento anni di cambiamenti, di stili, di abitudini e gusti italiani.”
Resistere a questi biscotti è impossibile e mentre realizzavamo questo still life ci siamo chiesti: Ma chi ha avuto l’idea geniale di inventare il biscotto? Abbiamo così scoperto che esistono tantissime teorie sulla nascita dei biscotti: qualcuno fa risalire l’invenzione a dei cuochi olandesi, secondo altri la nascita dei biscotti è da attribuire ad Apicius, un gastronomo romano, mentre altre fonti fanno risalire la loro scoperta nell’Asia dell’antichità.
Qualunque sia la loro origine, per fortuna che qualcuno li ha inventati!
