Natura morta con vetro, agrifoglio, e banane
In questa natura morta troviamo una bottiglia , un’alzatina e un bicchiere di vetro finemente lavorato.Sull’alzatina un ramo di agrifoglio, a destra due banane e una foglia.In questo still life il nostro interesse era quello di recuperare la forma attraverso semplificazioni geometriche e descrivere lo spazio attraverso la collocazione degli oggetti sul piano.Gli oggetti utilizzati hanno una precisa simbologia, i vetri rappresentano un segnale per cercare di bilanciare le cose e funge da promemoria per completare compiti che potrebbero essere stati dimenticati,o accantonati.L’agrifoglio è la pianta di Natale che non manca mai nella natura morta : tra leggende e tradizione, le sue foglie pungenti sono dei veri portafortuna .Nell’interpretazione del significato dell’agrifoglio si fa leva soprattutto sulle sue caratteristiche fisiche: essendo un sempreverde è simbolo di eternità e per le sue foglie estremamente pungenti rappresenta anche l’aggressività!.Così tanto aggressivo da essere usato in antichità per scacciare gli spiriti maligni, soprattutto dagli antichi romani e dai drudi, che lo indossavano tra i capelli come simbolo di buon auspicio durante i riti sacrificali.Il suo significato di portafortuna è giunto fino a noi, i Romani infatti iniziarono a utilizzarlo sempre, in ogni festività, per addobbare la porta della propria casa e da simbolo pagano divenne cristiano!E infine le banane,Se l’arte contemporanea dovesse essere ridotta ad una sola icona, questa sarebbe sicuramente una banana.Da Wharrol a Cattelan la lista degli artisti che hanno usato le banane nelle loro opere e’ infinita.Quindi in questo duro periodo con questa immagine vogliamo rilanciare una speranza a rivedere la nostra vita nel profondo, nelle cose che abbiamo messo da parte ma che sono basilari, e con un po’ di fortuna riusciremo a scacciare gli “spiriti malvagi “che in questi tempi affliggono il pianeta, nella speranza c he come sempre l’arte ci salvera’
Still life with glass, holly, and bananas
A bottle, a backsplash and a glass of finely worked glass. On the backsplash a branch of holly, on the right two bananas and a leaf. In this still life our interest was to recover the shape through geometric simplifications and describe the space through the placement of objects on the plane. The objects used have a precise symbolism, the glasses represent a signal to try to balance things and acts as a reminder to complete tasks that may have been forgotten, or set aside. Holly is the plant of Christmas that never fails: between legends and tradition, its pungent leaves are real lucky charms. In the interpretation of the meaning of holly it relies above all on its physical characteristics: being an evergreen it is a symbol of eternity and for its leaves extremely pungent also represents aggression!. So aggressive as to be used in antiquity for chasing are the evil spirits, especially from the ancient Romans and the druds, who wore it in their hair as a symbol of good omen during the sacrificial rites. Its meaning of good luck has come down to us, the Romans in fact began to use it always, in every to decorate the door of his home and became a Christian from a pagan symbol!
