La nostalgia anni 80, le mitiche Crystal Ball sono stati uno dei giochi più amati da noi ragazzi negli anni 80. Una pasta colorata venduta in tubetti con cui creare magiche bolle appiccicose. Negli anni ‘70 e seguenti —scoppia la Crystal Ball mania. Il brevetto viene depositato nel 1947 dal chimico Claudio Pasini. Ci mette un bel po’ a far capire il potenziale del gioco, ma ce la fa. Almeno due generazioni si sono divertite con le sue bolle di cristallo. Poi la crisi, ed il tentativo di rinascita. Nel 2013 lancia una raccolta fondi attraverso il web, che ha grande successo e che tuttora,ha rispolverato sugli scaffali dei supermercati e delle cartolerie il proprio prodotto. Abbiamo voluto realizzare qualche immagine un po’ nostalgica giocando sui colori, sulle forme tonde delle trasparenze colorate della crystal Ball ,che da piccoli gonfiavamo con gli amici all’infinito sfidandoci in epici duelli.Gli scatti sono stati realizzati in digitale con Hasselblad h6d e illuminati con BRONCOLOR
It was one of the most loved games by us kids in the 80s. A colored paste sold in tubes with which to create magical sticky bubbles. In the ’70s – and following – the Crystal Ball mania broke out. The patent was filed in 1947 by the chemist Claudio Pasini. It takes a long time to understand the potential of the game, but it does. At least two generations have had fun with its crystal bubbles. Then the crisis, and the attempt at rebirth. In 2013 he launched a fundraiser through the web, which was very successful and which still has dusted off his product on the shelves of supermarkets and stationery stores. We wanted to create some slightly nostalgic images by playing on the colors, on the round shapes of the colored transparencies of the crystal Ball, which we infused with friends endlessly, challenging each other in epic duels.
